A paragraph about why you think computers are an important part of the educational experience and critical concerns related to how teachers and students use computers. Use Chapter 1 to find appropriate terminology and get you thinking. Do you agree or disagree with issues raised in Chapter 1? Why or why not?A paragraph on how you think you will use computers in your classroom. Use the textbook (Ch 1) to get ideas. What do you hope to learn in this class to help you achieve these goals?A paragraph on anything you would like to share/discuss with your classmates, especially if it applies to this course, technology in general, or your future career. Just have fun!

I believe that computers are an important part of the educational experience because they can enhance the learning environment in the classroom as well as provide ways for the teacher to provide more effective ways to teach. Computer literacy is very important these days, so it's good for students and teachers to learn how to use it in the classroom. I do agree with the issues raised in Chapter 1 because they are accurate in their references to teaching with computers.

I think I will use computers in the classroom to help children get more practice with the curriculum. I would also do fun activities and games that the students would enjoy. The last thing I would use computers for is for myself. I would probaly make spreadsheets and word documents to keep myself organized and on task. In this class, I hope to learn effective tools that will make my teaching easier. I want to learn games and programs that I could use for myself to stay an organized teacher.

I like using the computer because it kills time when I'm bored. However, I feel like I only go on two websites; Facebook and FSU. Sometimes I think back to when I was younger and I wonder what did I do on the computer. I'm pretty sure in this class I'll learn some neat things that I can take with me in my future career and just in general.
