My lesson plan would be for the 1st grade level and the subject matter would be reading. As for the technology I would use the computer to help them learn words and sentences. The program would have sound, so they would wear earphones and watch words flash across the screen. Then they would have to put the words into a sentence. After that, the computer would read the sentence out loud.

The website that I am critiquing is Education.com. http://www.education.com/ It seems to be a great website. The color scheme is consistent and the words are easy to read. The pictures that are there serves a purpose and are necessary. However, the page is filled with ads. That can get annoying and very distracting. Overall though, the website is great and very easy to navigate through.

My experiences with copyright in the educational environment have been great. I learned all about it when I was in middle school. My teachers did a great job explaining everything to me and my peers. So now I know about not copyrighting things. As a teacher, I would just make sure I knew where I was getting my information from, and I would check with the appropriate people to use it. As far as my students, I would make them sight their sources so I could correct them on any mistakes they might have made. There should be few mistakes because I would show them before hand what they could and could not use.
